I'm Ishaan...

As a lifelong swimmer, I’ve always loved helping others discover the joy of swimming. My journey began when I taught my two baby siblings to swim at just a year old, an experience that inspired me to pursue teaching swimming professionally.
I’m passionate about helping swimmers grow by combining a challenging, fun, and educational environment.
Professional Experience
I began teaching swim lessons professionally in 2023 and quickly found a passion for helping swimmers grow and reach their full potential. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of children, watching them transform into confident and capable swimmers. In May 2024, after consistently ranking in the top 20% of instructors at one of Columbia's most popular swim schools, I was promoted to Golden Teacher and took on the responsibility of training new staff.
During the school year, I work as a Developmental Swim Team Coach with the University of Pittsburgh's athletics department, where I coach competitive swimmers and develop structured training programs. I bring all of that experience into every private lesson I teach.
